Cornelius Farms, LLC

Cornelius Farms, LLC was established in 1989, owned and operated by Alex and Cathy Cornelius with their daughters Heather and Megan.  With over 21 Years of Blueberry Production and Nursery experience Cornelius Farms is recognized as a leader in the Blueberry industry.

Cornelius Farms, LLC offers a unique blend of services from Agriculture, Commercial Ground Work, Blueberry Nursery, Blueberry Production, and operation of Blueberry packing facility for one of the largest Blueberry marketers in the United States.

The Farm has expanded from the initail investment of 17 acres to over 275 acres of production which consists of 3 farms.  The initial purpose of the nursery was to produce quality plants for production in their own fields.  Today the nursery consits of four green houses, a large propagation lot, two acres for grow out plants, and one acres of one gallon plants.  The nursery continues to grow as demand increases.

Cornelius Farms, LLC participates in the University of Georgia research program by providing onsite test plots, and testing the newest varieties preparing to be released.  Cornelius Farms, LLC works closely with various breeders to ensure that we can offer the newest varities available to their customers as soon as released.

In 2005 Cornelius Farms, LLC began providing prefessional land clearing and site preparation services for Agriculture / Commercial sites to better serve those in the Blueberry industry.

Some acheivements received by Cornelius Farms, LLC are the 2000 AgSouth farm Family of the Year, Michigan Blueberry Growers Association Board, as well as three years on the MBG panel.

Alex and Cathy are passionatley devoted to Christ.  Cornelius farms, LLC is so much more than a business, it is a ministy.
